Hi! This is me, Emilie.

I'm a 20 year old girl, who is living in the Netherlands.

I'm always seeking around to find little treasures and secrets. It's the little things that make me happy. I started taking pictures a few years ago during my summer vacation. I had found something that made me want to get up every morning and go through the day with my eyes wide open. 

After a while, the crazy idea of starting a blog popped into my head. So, that's what I did. I took a little piece of the internet and called it 'Emilistic'. 

I loved designing every bit of it and I enjoyed posting new pictures on it. But it was difficult to keep up with it. I wanted to find something to write about, which wasn't always that easy.

I have tons of pictures ready to go on it! 

So I kind of made the decision to move on and start something else. A portfolio? Is that what I want to call this little piece of the internet? Maybe this will work for me? Maybe I start writing again? Will see...
